Alta works.
Someone has to work it.
Most stuck Alta deployments fail on five things: targeting and data, message assets, sending infrastructure, operating cadence, and expectations. The platform is rarely the problem. I operate an Alta deployment end to end for a client, and the free check scores all five in 3 minutes. No call.
Where Alta deployments actually fail
- Targeting.Katie works whatever list she is given. If the ICP is not written down and the filters do not match it, she personalizes noise.
- Compass.Alta's knowledge base powers every message. Filled at onboarding and never updated, it drifts stale within a quarter.
- Sending infrastructure.Domains, mailboxes, warmup, ramp. Google and Yahoo cap complaint rates, and Microsoft junks unauthenticated bulk mail. Volume on cold infrastructure is how domains die.
- CRM sync.Messy fields in, messy targeting out. Sync is a data contract, and someone has to own both sides of it.
- Cadence.Replies need triage daily. Campaigns need iteration weekly. A deployment on autopilot degrades quietly until the renewal conversation.
What operating Alta actually looks like
This is the shape of the week I run.
- Monday:Pipeline review. Reply backlog to zero. Deliverability numbers checked against last week.
- Daily:30 to 45 minutes: approval queue, reply triage, pausing what looks wrong.
- Wednesday:Campaign iteration. One message test in, one read out.
- Friday:Metrics into the ledger. List refresh. CRM hygiene pass.
One deployment, stated plainly
I run Alta end to end for one client: campaigns, Compass, infrastructure, CRM, reporting, and the daily queue. One is the honest number, and every claim on this site is built to survive checking.
What you can check right now
- The readiness check on this site scores five dimensions live. You are inside a working system while you use it.
- The reference tree publishes the sending limits I operate to. Every provider rule and industry figure there names its primary source and the date it was checked.
- The MCP server at /mcp returns real scores, not a demo.
Three steps, no call required
- 1
Readiness Check. Free, self-serve, 3 minutes. Tells you whether your deployment can work as configured, and where it is weakest.
- 2
Deployment Audit. $1,500 fixed. I inspect the live deployment and deliver a written fault list with fix order. No call required, before or after.
- 3
Managed operation, $3,500/month, by application.
Straight answers
Why not just use Alta's support?
Alta's team configures the product. But most failures live outside the product boundary: domain reputation, list strategy, CRM hygiene, proof points in your messaging, and whether anyone runs the weekly loop. That is operations, not support.
Do I need to keep paying Alta while this happens?
Yes for the audit; I audit the live deployment. The audit tells you whether the subscription is worth renewing, so run it well before the renewal date.
Will you take over my accounts?
I work inside your accounts with access you grant and can revoke. Domains, data, workflows, and the platform contract stay yours. Offboarding is a documented step, not a negotiation.
Is this affiliated with Alta?
No. Independent operator. This site measures deployments, not the product. Alta raised $25M in July 2026. Deployments are where the trouble lives.
What if my platform is not Alta?
The homepage lists the stack I run. HubSpot and GoHighLevel readiness checks are planned. Email me and I will tell you honestly whether I can help.
Do you build in Clay?
Yes, when a client's motion needs it. I lead with operating the platform you already bought, because a second platform is a second thing nobody runs. If enrichment is the actual constraint, Clay is the tool and I will say so.
